Travel and Your Digital Devices

If you are traveling into the USA, even if you are a US citizen, then your digital devices may get searched. The law surrounding the abilities of the Customs and Border Patrol to search your devices is not clear. The ACLU offers this very helpful (although more than a tad distressing) review of the situation and makes suggestions on how to handle your devices when traveling.

Attorney Advertising

This site is attorney advertising (yes, I have to say that) and nothing on it should be relied on as legal advice. Any info provided is generalized or just my opinion and, at best, educational. You want legal advice? Hire an attorney (even if it’s not me).

Prior results absolutely do not guarantee future outcomes. In other words, just because someone won or lost before on a similar issue or case to yours doesn’t mean yours will go the same way or that you will get the same financial results.
